- She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre from The University of Michigan School of Music. Graduated in the same class as Tony award-winning actor and lifelong friend Gavin Creel. Jessica took Gavin to his first Broadway show: "Kiss of the Spider Woman," starring fellow Michigan alum Vanessa Williams and took him backstage to meet her, afterwards.
