- Along with Zack Ward has begun a movie production company called Makeshift Productions, which will release their first feature film; a horror movie tentatively titled Zombies Ate My Mom, in 2005.
- Since leaving Evanescence, the band which he formed in high school with Amy Lee, he has composed and produced music for Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson
- He is preparing to enter the studio to record his own solo album. No name is set yet, but Ben intends to do all of the composing himself, play all of the instruments at the recording studio, and sing vocals too.
