- Lost to Royce Gracie in UFC 1. On April 7, 1995, at UFC 5: Return Of The Beast, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Shamrock got his rematch with Gracie in the first ever super fight. The bout lasted over 35 minutes and was declared a draw. Most agree if there had been judges, Shamrock would have been declared the winner.
